The service includes the identification, recruitment, scheduling, and rewarding of participants based on your specified criteria. We can recruit based on specific quotas as well, such as 50% users of a certain service and 50% non-users. There are no limits to the criteria you can specify, and as UX research experts, we can also suggest the best options to ensure the success of your study.
Can UserQ recruit testers for external studies outside of UserQ.com?
Yes, UserQ supports recruitment for both studies conducted on UserQ.com and external research projects. This includes unmoderated studies on external platforms (such as surveys or prototype tests hosted on UserQ competitor websites) and moderated sessions such as 1:1 interviews, in-lab usability tests, and focus groups.
How is the pricing calculated for custom recruitment?
Pricing starts at $10 per response and varies based on factors such as participant demographics, study complexity, and the duration of the research session. A fixed management fee is also calculated on top, independently of the nature of the study. A detailed quotation will be provided before recruitment begins.
What information do I need to provide about my target participants?
You’ll need to specify detailed criteria, including age, gender, residency, nationality, employment status, income level, and any quotas or cohorts, as well as any other criteria relevant to your study. If details are unclear, we may follow up with questions before starting the recruitment process to ensure everything is aligned.
What happens if the specified quotas cannot be met?
If quotas cannot be fulfilled due to participant availability, you’ll be notified and given the option to adjust the criteria or receive a partial refund for unmet quotas.
When is payment due for the recruitment service?
Full payment is required before recruitment begins, as this is necessary for us to start the recruitment process. Payment can be made via credit card or bank transfer, as specified in the recruitment quotation.
Do participants sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?
Yes, we can provide a standard NDA or consent form for participants to agree to be recorded via video/audio (if applicable). If you have a specific NDA, you can provide it before recruitment begins, and we will ensure participants sign it instead.
